Silver , a grulla son of Chato's Shadow and out of Mountain Mist, a daughter of Mexi con Estrella and Jack Slade, is also homozygous for the dun factor.

A line bred Buckshot horse, Silver carries many traits of the Sorraia horse, one of the proven ancestors of the Spanish Mustang.  He passes these traits on to his foals.  Silver is a full brother of both Silvertip and Misty Jo, a mare now in Germany in a small herd of Sorraia horses.
